Description
The STR MK 4 emergency stretcher with biocontainment system is a chamber designed to guarantee the transfer and treatment of patients suffering from high-risk and airborne contagious diseases, in total safety within the healthcare facility. With the STR MK 4 the safety of both patients and medical personnel is guaranteed.
The basic proposal of the STR MK 4 includes a two-section biocontainment emergency stretcher with variable height as the basic support. The structure is made of painted steel with 4 antistatic wheels and a lifting system with two cylindrical hydraulic columns. As for the isolation unit, this is composed of an aluminum frame covered by a medical grade PVC structure sealed by airtight zips on both sides and complete with gloves with sleeves, and accesses for ECG cables and more.
The filtration system works with three-stage H14 grade HEPA filters (nuclear, biological and chemical) which guarantees an efficiency of 99.9995% capable of protecting up to a BSL 4 danger level (UNI EN ISO 1822 standard: 2009). The blower is equipped with a support battery which guarantees its autonomous operation. The filters are tested and approved for a minimum of 720 hours of continuous operation and their expected life is 70,000 hours.
