Speech and Language Therapy team identified the need for a high-quality
transparent mask and partnered with Bluetree Medical to bring their vision to
life. This mask has been specifically designed to offer a greater level of
communication and care, particularly for those who are treating and interacting
with people with hearing and cognitive impairments. The mask meets the UK
governments’ transparent mask technical specification, along with the MHRA
essential health and safety requirements and has been approved for use in
healthcare by the 4 devolved nations.
